Just in time for the holidays, Penn Flutes, one of the largest active flute choirs in the United States, will perform a concert of seasonal favorites in the lobby of Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center.
The Penn Chorale will present Songs of Faith, Hope, and Love. Whether you are strong in faith, hope, and love, or painfully longing for more of all three, there will be music that speaks to you, with works by composers such as Florence Price, Jake Runestad, Joan Szymko, David Hurd, and Philadelphia composer Melissa Dunphy.
Penn Flutes will perform a short program in the Penn Museum Rotunda! "Winter Magic" includes a range of to festive songs like A Winter Night and a Hebrew Holiday medley to childhood classics from A Charlie Brown Christmas, Frozen, and The Grinch. We look forward to celebrating the season with you!

The University of Pennsylvania Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Paul Bryan, presents The British Invasion - 3 p.m. on November 20 in Irvine Auditorium. The program features classics for wind ensemble including Gustav Holst's Second Suite for Military Band and Hammersmith as well as more recently composed works by British composers Guy Woolfenden and John Rutter.
