Featuring seven different groups, the concert will have two sets, one starting at 6:00, and one starting at 7:30.

This event is free and open to the public.

ABOUT

The Penn Jazz Ensembles consists of small (3-6 member) jazz ensembles which meet weekly for rehearsals coached by professional Philadelphia-based jazz musicians. Repertoire is extremely varied and includes early jazz, 1950's-era straight ahead jazz, Cuban jazz, vocal jazz, jazz arrangements of current popular music, and other styles. Instrumental performance and improvisation are emphasized but vocalists are welcomed. More information.
