The University of Pennsylvania Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Paul Bryan, presents The British Invasion - 3 p.m. on November 20 in Irvine Auditorium. The program features classics for wind ensemble including Gustav Holst's Second Suite for Military Band and Hammersmith as well as more recently composed works by British composers Guy Woolfenden and John Rutter. This event is free and open to the public.

ABOUT

The Penn Wind Ensemble has been actively performing on the Penn campus for over 30 years. Comprised of musicians from the entire Penn community, the Penn Wind Ensemble performs a wide range of repertoire drawing on newly composed works for wind band as well as on works from the core wind repertoire. The ensemble also regularly performs works for varied instrumentation, including wind quintets and chamber configurations. The Penn Wind Ensemble rehearses and performs in historic Irvine Auditorium on Penn’s Campus. More information.
