I hope this finds you doing well. We continue to pivot. I think you’re on mute. Keep 6 Feet Apart. Omicron. Delta. Wear a Mask. Black Lives Matter. Wash Your Hands. January 6. Remote Learning. These Unprecedented times…
‘An Afternoon of Nine Readings & Songs’ will use poetry and music to tell some of our story in These Unprecedented Times. It is loosely modeled after the famous King’s College Christmas program ‘A Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols.’ In Kahlil Gibran’s work ‘The Prophet’ there is a section which begins: Speak to us of Joy and Sorrow. Using this poem and others as inspiration, we’ll sing of joy and sorrow, of healing and loss, of being alone and having fun together. Music, poetry, community. Just what we need in These Unprecedented Times.
This event is free and open to the public.
