Penn Wind Ensemble
April 3, 2022 (Sunday) – 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Irvine Auditorium
3401 Spruce St
Philadelphia, PA 19104
Music has a wonderful ability to create worlds and tell stories without the use of visual aids or words. The Penn Wind Ensemble will take on this challenge in its spring concert by presenting an afternoon of programmatic music. The repertoire on this concert will include “Vesuvius” by Frank Ticheli, “La Fiesta Mexicana” by H. Owen Reed, and “Colors” by Bert Appermont, which will feature Wharton senior Lance Lunceford as the trombone soloist.
This event is free and open to the public.
