“Carthage”, the all-Primosch cd released by The Crossing earlier this year, has been nominated for the 63rd Annual Grammy Award for Best Choral Performance! We would like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to Donald Nally, conductor of The Crossing (who is the nominee), as well as the composer of "Carthage", our very own Professor of Music, James Primosch.

The Daedalus Quartet Discuss Their 2017 Performance of George Crumb's "Black Angels" at the Penn Museum
The Daedalus Quartet, Penn's internationally renowned string-quartet-in-residence, will be featured on "Made at Avaloch" on Avaloch Farm Music Institute's YouTube channel on Friday, August 28 at 8pm EDT. They are sharing a film of their 2017 performance of George Crumb's "Black Angels" at the Penn Museum, and discussing their experience putting the piece together. Tune in below!
