Ranging from Josquin des Prez to a Philadelphia premiere by composer and Penn alumnus Jeremy Gill. “Fantasia” also features Florence Price’s rhapsodic Fantasie no. 2 in F# minor and concludes with Schubert's tour de force in C major. Integral to Price’s Fantasie is her setting of the spiritual “Workin’ on My Building," as well as William Levi Dawson’s version of “Talk About a Child that Do Love Jesus”, both manuscripts of which are housed in the Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts as part of the Marian Anderson Collection.

Presented by the University of Pennsylvania's Music Department, the Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books and Manuscripts, and the Otto E.
