Scott Ordway, who graduated May 2013 with a Ph.d. in Composition, presents his first solo photography exhibition titled “IMAGES FROM THE END OF RAIN: Contemporary Landscape Photography From California” in Frankfurt’s Kunstverein Familie Montez.
Starting in 2020, I began photographing the impact of wildfire and drought on communities and landscapes in my home state of California. I visited some of the state’s most remote regions to speak with people about the impact of fire and drought on their lives and I took thousands of photographs of the changing landscapes they described.
