Penn Graduate Student in Composition, Erin Busch runs a program called the Young Women Composers Camp (YWCC), which is in its final day of virtual sessions today and has hosted 45 female and nonbinary students from all over the world. On Sat. 8/7 at 7:30pm and Sun. 8/8 at 2pm, World Premiere concerts will take place over Youtube and Facebook Live. Each concert will feature newly-composed works by students from 2021 YWCC Online performed by the and Play Duo, Peridot Duo, and Mazumal Duo.
All are welcome to attend through the YWCC Facebook or YouTube pages! The livestream concert will begin approximately 20 minutes before the scheduled concert time. You can also RSVP and share the Facebook event here. If you’re unable to make the livestreams, you can also watch the concerts at a later date on our Facebook or YouTube pages.
