ABOUT PENN JAZZ ENSEMBLES

The Penn Jazz Ensembles consists of small (3-6 member) jazz ensembles which meet weekly for rehearsals coached by professional Philadelphia-based jazz musicians. Repertoire is extremely varied and includes early jazz, 1950's-era straight ahead jazz, Cuban jazz, vocal jazz, jazz arrangements of current popular music, and other styles.
