You won't know their names, but some of the finest composers of the 17th century lived their lives behind convent walls.  Come hear a splendid setting of the Mass by Chiara Margarita Cozzolani as well as ecstatic works by Isabella Leonarda, Caterina Assandra and others.  Celebrate the return of live music making in this concert of music dedicated to St. Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians.

Penn Collegium Musicum (formerly Ancient Voices) is a select chamber choir that specializes in music from the Medieval, Renaissance, and early Baroque period. Open by audition to all students, the choir has a special interest in historically-informed performance practice.  Led by Meg Bragle, Collegium Musicum performs two concerts per year.
