Qiujiang Levi Lu is a Chinese improviser, experimental vocalist, composer, and creative technologist who perform with custom-built electronic instruments and write intermedia pieces that explore human relationships and the phenomenology of sound. Besides their own works, Lu is half of the experimental electroacoustic duo, Warp Duo.
Lu’s performance and compositions have been featured at Festivals, Conferences, and Venues such as the HighZero Festival, the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, IRCAM Forum, SEAMUS conference, NIME conference, NowNet Arts conference, DiMenna Center, Spencer Museum of Art, Oberlin MMG, Redroom, and Rhizome DC.
Lu holds a Master of Music degree in Computer Music from Peabody Institute and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Stony Brook University.
