James Diaz, Fifth Year Graduate Student in Composition, has been selected as one of the nine composers for Composing Inclusion, a new partnership between the New York Philharmonic, The Juilliard School’s Preparatory Division, and American Composers Forum, and made possible with a Sphinx Venture Fund grant.
James will be writing a new piece for orchestra, which will premiere as part of the New York Philharmonic’s Young People’s Concert on May 6, 2023, at David Geffen Hall.
