Professor Timothy Rommen's Pre-Freshman class, 'A Borderless Caribbean?: The Creole Geographies of Dominica’s Popular Music', was offered as part of the 2022 Center for Africana Studies Summer Institute for Pre-Freshmen. The Summer Institute is a one-week intensive study experience that exposes students to a variety campus resources, alongside intellectual and cultural themes in Africana Studies before their first year at Penn.
