The Music Department at Penn is pleased to announce that performances by our student ensembles will be open to the Penn community and the general public this year. While we continue to manage the challenges facing us because of the pandemic, all of our performances will be free of charge to everyone. In keeping with University policy and requirements of our venues, we are requiring the following from our audience members:
Members of the Penn community (students, faculty, and staff)
Please be prepared to present that day's Green Pass upon arrival at the concert venue
Members of the general public
Each person must present proof of vaccination (either the physical card or a picture of it) along with a valid photo ID. Children under 12 must present a negative COVID test. Each person must also present a completed PennOpen Campus Green Pass for the day of the performance. You can access the PennOpen Campus questionnaire here:
All visitors attending a Music Department event
- Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the beginning of the performance to ensure time for screening and entry to the venue.
- Face masks covering the nose and mouth must be worn at all times for all those over age two. Masks must be worn for the duration of the performance and time spent inside the venue. Those who refuse to keep their masks on will be asked to leave the venue.
- If you feel unwell, have exhibited symptoms of COVID-19 in the previous 14 days or been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the previous 14 days: please respect the health and well-being of our staff and artists and stay home!
